Block name shows the effect it gives. Every block uses 8HP(4 Hearts) for 30sec. of effect.
Blocks are craftable, all recipes are like this.

Invisibility = Iron ingot
Speed = Redstone Block
Levitation = Diamond
Regeneration = Gold Ingot
Night Vision = Iron Nugget
Absorption = Emerald
Haste = Diamond Block
Jump Boost = Rabbit Foot
Saturation = Golden Apple
Strength = Diamond Sword
